Renault 5 GT Turbo – 1986 – Original, Iconic & Exceptionally Preserved
On November 25th, 1986, the purchase agreement for this Renault 5 GT Turbo in distinctive Apollo Grey was signed. An Italian Alfa Romeo Spider was traded in for this French icon – and remarkably, both cars still exist today. The Alfa is still registered, and this original Renault 5 is now offered here.
When new, it was ordered with a comfort package and a right-side exterior mirror – desirable options at the time.
Up until 2012, this Renault was exclusively maintained by a Renault dealer, with no expense spared. A substantial file of invoices is present, all in the name of the same lady owner. By that time, the mileage had reached 102,974 km. Since then, only around 4,000 km have been added – bringing the current total to just 107,000 km. That’s minimal use over the past 14 years.
From new until today, this car has had only two owners – and it shows in every detail.
