This beautiful ocean blue T2 was originally purchased new in the Netherlands in 1979 and was sent to Westfalia that same year to be professionally converted into a camper. This makes it a genuine original Dutch Westfalia camper with a great history.
The previous owner purchased the bus in 2005. Since then, the baywindow has been taken on many different holidays and adventures. You can see that this bus has been used for exactly what it was intended for: travelling and enjoying life.
Camping for four
The Westfalia interior provides four sleeping places:
- 2 sleeping places in the pop-top roof
- 2 sleeping places downstairs on the folding bench seat
The camper is also equipped with a gas stove, sink with running water, and various cupboards and storage compartments. And if you still need more space, you can always tow a trailer, as this baywindow camper is equipped with a tow bar.
Mechanically a pleasure to drive
Mechanically, this T2b drives very well. It is equipped with a 1600 cc engine running on LPG. With LPG costing around €0.90 per litre, travelling long distances is certainly affordable.
It is important to mention that this is not a brand-new camper. The interior could use some refurbishment, and the tent canvas would also benefit from being replaced. The good news is that a new tent canvas is included with the camper!
This makes it a great bus for someone who enjoys getting their hands dirty and making things their own. Freshen up the interior, fit the new tent canvas and gradually bring the camper back to the condition and appearance it deserves.
